I founded Faust Research Services LLC in 2017 to help individuals and organizations write and submit research grant proposals. I support biomedical scientists of all career stages in achieving their professional goals by helping them secure external funding and establish lasting scientific collaborations. The company operating principle is that individualized and field-specific research development will increase grant submission and funding rates. My experience has taught me that securing funding and running successful research programs varies from field to field. Because of this, I decided to focus on developing my approach and knowledge in a way that is specific to biomedical sciences.

Faust Research Services supports clinical, basic, and translational research within the biomedical field. My approach is customized to the funder and reviewer preferences that have been identified through years of experience. My specialties are individual research proposals, team research proposals, and training grant proposals.

“Alma was an absolute delight to work with. Alma couples her broad and deep understanding of the scientific publishing and academic funding landscape with a strong work ethic, a passion for transforming ideas into funded projects, and eternal optimism that good science and good teams always succeed. You will undoubtedly relish having her on your team. Alma is a gifted, motivated, innovative and independent thinker who will leave an indelible impact on whatever she touches.”
Dr. Sunil Krishnan, Physician Scientist

“I’ve worked with Alma for years in multiple scientific roles and can’t say enough about how highly we value her work as a grant developer. She’s a scientist who sees connections between investigators, knows the granting agencies ins and outs, and proposes and facilitates innovative applications. In multi-investigator grants, she captains the ship and drafts the overview documents. Her expertise and knowledge of the grant process is worth every penny.”
Dr. Wendy Woodward, Physician Scientist

“Dr. Faust is a truly amazing collaborator in project and grant development. Her wealth of experience and attention to detail has been a key factor in my success.”
